Adooph’s Mexican Restaurant. I have been going to Adolph’s at least once a week since I a small child. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean. This is, by far, the best Mexican food in town. Favorites of mine include: hard and soft tacos, enchiladas, burritos, carne de res, tostadas, rice and beans. The meat is so tasty and not a bit dry. I suggest that if you plan on ordering chips, order the bean dip, which is chips and refried beans in a edible shell. You won’t regret dining there.

AMAZING Food. Bland mexican food??? Very Midwest Taste?? Not sure if you have tastebuds left. I have been all over the US and Central America. Real Mexican Food from Mexico is extremely BLAND!!! They put all their flavor into their sauces which come on the side. Adolphs is very tasty. And NOTHING like Taco Bell like the other guy said. I also looked at the other places they like and wow, I was shocked to see they do not eat anywhere that has good flavor, just bland food for old folks. Trust me Adolphs is delicious and has been around for years, there is a reason for that, which seems to have some people a little jealous. Maybe these guys are just quotes from competitors?? Who know, all I know is if you like Mexican you’ll Love Adolphs! 🙂 Enjoy!
Great place. I love Adolphs. Whenever I get home to the QC I have to make a stop. Who ever said it’s just a little better than Taco Bell, has no clue. They use goats cheese and that makes such a huge difference. Everything they make is fantastic and fresh. The best Mexican restaurant in the Quad Cites, period. Plus it is run by a great family. I miss Louise, she was such a wonderful person and always welcomed you with her pleasant smile.
Ugh, they also serve burgers. The so called Mexican food isn’t that great. Very bland. Very Midwestern.
Hmmm… I’ll have to try it again.. I dined at Adolph’s a few years ago and don’t remember it being particularly good. However, after reading some of these reviews I plan to visit and post my experience.
