Wife and I went here to get a beer and appetizer. Waitress ignored us. Had to go get out menu. Then a party of five arrived at a table near us. She took their order first and ignored us purposefully! We walked out. So i can’t tell you about their food or beer but their service sucks.
Try the uncommon stout. Very good. Unique atmosphere.
Hands down best beer in the area. However ridiculous music, inept bar tenders, mediocre food and constant bad service often sends us elsewhere after a cold one.
Wings n beer. Stopped in as it was recommended to us by a friend who grew up in Davenport. The Uncommon Stout was great, the Oatmeal Stout, nothing special. Had some wings that were very tasty, and good quality. Will return for sure when passing through the Quad Citys to pick up my Founders fix across the river!
Best Beer. Bent River has the best beer in town! The Uncommon Stout is my favorite all year round; and Jingle Java hits the spot come Christmas time. Bent has recently updated their menu as well as the cleanliness and look of the restaurant! The beer garden out back is always a nice place to relax but can be packed on late nights & weekends.
Good Food, Great Beer. Bent River is kind of hit or miss if you are looking for a great dining experience, but if your looking for a cold beer, you cant go wrong. The only downside of the food part is how busy the bar gets on evenings and weekends. If you want food, go early so your not surrounded by annoying drunk hippies. I always order burger baskets, which are DELICIOUS. They also have a jalapeno catchup that cannot be beat!
