My husband and I stopped in after our daughter raved about the food. I have a strict diet that I find hard to accommodate when we go out. I was pleased to find many menu items that I could eat without substitutions. I like how the vegetarian dishes do not use pasta, rice and potatoes for filler. I cannot eat any of those carbs. I will visit again just to try some things my husband wont share with me!
AMAZING! I travel to Moline for business and am always looking for a healthier alternative to the chain and fast food restaurants around. Eating healthy on a business trip seemed like an unattainable goals. So glad I stumbled on Cafe Fresh. I dined alone for lunch the first time, and retuned a couple of days later for lunch with a co-worker. Both times the service was excellent with attentive waitresses and super fast delivery. The quick food delivery was somewhat expected as it doesn’t take long to slap a salad or a wrap together. But the restaurant was quite busy and I was surprised at the speed of service. The food was AMAZING. The first visit it opted for the $9 combo of a 1/2 wrap or salad (I chose the BLTG wrap) and soup (I had chicken tortilla). The wrap was MASSIVE and spilling with fresh delicious bacon. Mmm bacon. Not the healthiest choice but ya for live sometimes. The soup was also absolutely delicious. I was so full but couldn’t stop myself from polishing it off. The woman seated next to me had the Fruity Chicken sandwich and RAVED about it. Second visit we experienced the same fast table service and food delivery. This time I went with the Skinny Chicken salad and chicken tortilla soup (again). I do wish if tried the other soup (Red Pepper & Gouda), but I’m back in Moline soon and will absolutely be returning … and sampling a mini cupcake this time. We also ordered a flatbread to go for a co-worker and she raved about it, it certainly looked delicious. My only ‘complaint’ was that the ceilings are quite high and there seems to be limited sound insulation. When we were getting ready to leave the place was quite full and it was also quite LOUD. I was told by a co-worker that the restaurant has recently moved over one building, and I hope the sound issue is temporary and just hasn’t been addressed since the move. A definite Moline fave for me. I’m already thinking about what I’ll order next time.
