Make sure you stop in and try The Docs Inn while you are in the Quad Cities. The burgers, gyros, beef and sausage sandwiches are amazing. The staff is friendly and they even serve food until 2 am every night,
Docs inn. Prices are fair if u like all bread. They are very skimpy with their meat on their italian beef. If u like italian beef sandwhiches Franks pizza is where to go. I wont go back to Docs…if all I wanted was bread id go to bread store
Great food friends staff and patrons. Man oh Man The food was good. Those Greek Wantons were awesome, and the pizza is unique as well as delicious.
The food is great but it’s not chi town bound, just like Dr.Gyros it’s not Chicago style. I grew up in Greek Town and 71st and Euclid where Italian fiesta is known world wide for their gardenia peppers and dipped Italian beef, just across the railroad tracks was and still Orbit Sub’s known for Chicago’s style Gyros that you can’t finish in one sitting dripping with cucumber sauce one Gyros was enormous. No one can do it Chicago style. but Doc’s inn is pretty good their French fries are delicious as well as the food
