The…Best Mai Tai Ever!. I tried making a pink mai tai and I could not get it right. I want to know how they make these drinks!! Amazing!
I haven’t been to many places in town, but I’ve made ET a stop when I am. Great duck and pumpkin curries!
Favorite Restaurant Ever!. I went to college in the Quad Cities, and Exotic Thai was a almost a weekly trip for me. Even though it is a little pricey, the atmosphere is cozy and sophisticated, and the food is amazing! I have tried perhaps half of the menu, and I have thoroughly enjoyed every item. The only thing I did not care for was the Larb appetizer. I highly recommend all of the noodle dishes, as well as the fried rice. Everyone I know that has tried the pineapple fried rice has liked it! The service can sometimes be a bit slow, because they never seem to have very many servers working at once, but the excellent food and pleasing atmosphere make up for the occasionally slow service. Please give this place a try!
Good FUSION Thai. It’s good, but more expensive than Erawan in Rock Island. It’s more fusion and not traditional Thai. If you want REAL Thai, go to Erawan-cheaper and again, more traditional!
Always Delicious. This, one of two E.T. branches and sister-ship to the new Lemongrass Cafe downtown, is always excellent. Try the Cashew Chili Chicken, or the Prik King! And the Thai Beef Jerky app is outstanding! Spicy! The service is always Singapore-Air-impeccable, and look here if you want to see how to give a strip mall location an intimate, calm, cool, modern/classic Asian vibe. Transported. One of the nicest restaurants in the area. Exotic Thai serves delicious food in a very pleasant environment. The waitstaff is cheerful and accommodating. If I had one tiny quibble it’s that they don’t kick up the heat quite enough on some of the dishes marked as hot. Even when you make a request for extra hot, the chef is still a little timid. Eat at this restaurant!
