It is an excellent dive! Food was fantastic and prices were reasonable. Atmosphere is purely a stark joint with 70s tables and chairs and I loved it! Portions were huge and the bread was plentiful. Most people take out from what I could see, but I wanted to get the full experience. Now I have to try the one in Bettendorf!
Very good Italian carry-out — especially the lasagna and seafood ravioli. The restaurant itself is very spartan. I haven’t tried their lunch yet but am eager to do so. The Italian beef sandwich sounds delicious. Biggest complaint — they’re not open on sundays.
Just Kim. I first started patronizing this restaurant when they were located in East Moline, where Yen Ching Express is now located. I like everything I have eaten here. It is my all time favorite place to get a meatball sandwich.
LOVE!. I live out of town and frequently find myself dreaming about lunch at Grinders. Their lunch special is CRAZY cheap, and SO GOOD. I just get the spaghetti and garlic bread, and it sounds like no big deal, BUT IT’S NOT. It’s heaven.
Great Value. Their bread is fantastic and their prices are really reasonable.
What???. The previous review must have been done by someone with no taste buds. The place is not fancy. But, neither are their prices. Their bread is amazing. Gotta try the cinnamon bread. Their sauce is great. Do yourself a favor and go for taste and skip The Olive Garden.
Chef Boyardee out of a can is more authentic.
