Went there during lunch time. First of all even with lot of empty tables we got our seat in about 10 minutes. Then came the waitress who was horrible while taking the order as she repeatedly took wrong orders( maybe that was her first day). Took around 25 minutes to get the food before I was about to leave. Food quality is OK nothing great. I have had better enchiladas than those at this place. Overall not a good experience!
Pricey For What You Get. I went in for lunch today and ordered the lunch fajitas. For $9 you really did not get that much food, and the steak and chicken were dry. There are Mexican restaurants in the Quad Cities that are cheaper, better, and you get more for your money.
Meh, not that spectacular. Went to La Flama on a busy Saturday night. Very loud, very busy atmosphere. The waitstaff was very busy, to the point we had to ask for silverware and napkins. The fountain soda was somewhat off (the Sierra Mist wasn’t as sweet as it should have been). The food did come very quickly, and it was pretty good Mexican food (not very Americanized). The portions are huge. We had several servers besides our waiter, so we never really knew who to ask for what. When it came to paying the bill, we had to wait and wait to get it, then wait again to actually pay. I think it’d be better to eat at La Flama when it’s not busy. Overall, I really wasn’t impressed.
I love it! $6 lunch specials? Wow! U can’t beat that in a nice restaurant la this one! I like it that includes tax on their prices vs vs other that they trick u with thier $5.99 or $10.99 etc. There u know right out the bat!
