The absolute best cookies in the area. I have been coming here since I was young child and have traveled near and far, but I’ve never found sugar cookies that are as delicious as the ones located at the olde town bakery. I’m also always excited to go in and see what fun designs they have airbrushed on the icing, there’s something different every day.
Awful cake / poor customer service. They may do something right but I didn’t witness it. My husband bought a so-called German Chocolate cake for my birthday.1. It was a boxed-like dark chocolate cake, NOT the lighter colored German chocolate.2. The chocolate icing was a very light colored slightly sweetened lard with little to no chocolate flavor. 3. The traditional coconut-pecan frosting to top the cake had little coconut or nuts.4. The top layer of the cake was significantly smaller than bottom.5. The icing around the two layers was cracked and unattrative.6. When my daughter called to discuss our dissatifaction she was passed off to 4 different people who were offended VS concerned for their customers satisfaction. She was ultimately told that that is how they make their cakes, thats the frosting they used on all their cakes that day and that no one else complained.7. Even though they may (or may not) do somethings well I will never know as with service like that I will never go back!
