Slightly upscale. Had the salmon. Good food. Good service. It’s downtown, not on the interstate for you travelers, only about two miles. Not a chain restaurant so that’s a plus. I would give a thumbs up overall.

We had dinner there recently to celebrate a retirement of a friend. The service and food are exemplary, and I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great place to eat in Mt vernon, IL.!
