It appears that this place turns people around quickly by any means. I stopped at Midway on my way to Austin and grabbed lunch. The Tuscan Salad was delivered almost immediately after I had ordered it. Although tasty, the lettuce was soggy and limp which indicates that they make the salad in advance and incorporate the dressing that time. The coffee was not good. It was very weak. The tables are so cramped that there was no room for my carry on bag which forced my to position it behind my chair (i.e. out of sight) so that the waitperson wouldn’t trip over it. On my next layover at MDW, rather than dropping another $16.80 before tip and leave disappointed, I will grab a snack at the Golden Arches and eat when I arrive at my final destination.
