Boraan’s is no more. The owner recently closed its doors. A great pity, in my view, for it offered the very finest Vietnamese and Thai food in the western suburbs. We managed to say goodbye and thanks to Mr.Kho the night before it closed.
This restaurant was amazing. We ate there regularly. My daughter could make a meal of their crab rangoon every time. However, I am very sad to say that they closed their doors last month with all the Rte 59 construction.
The Thai spring rolls were passable ( we tasted the wrap the most- no other flavors shown thru). Pad Thai was okay chx was over cooked and dry. Penang curry was very good. No liquor license so no Singha beer 🙁
Boraan has quickly become one of my favorites. The Thai Crab Rangoon if excellent. The Ramma Chicken is fresh and prepared well. The Pho Tai is like warm arms around you. You must try this gem.
I’ve been to Boraan’s a few times and have never been disappointed with the Pho special. I go there whenever I have a craving for Vietnamese food. For variety, I also order the Thai spring rolls, which are very good.
