The best burritos in the world!. I just woke up from a dream about how great a burrito I had there once. I live in southern california now and I almost cried when I woke up and realized it was a dream. I don’t care if it is authentic or not, but their combo burrito with ground beef and beans is so delicious. They are huge, too… I think they use at least 15 inch tortillas, probably bigger. If you are ever anywhere near there you must go get one immediately!
Big burritos, great tacos, and clean place. If you want to go to the best looking El Famous, you need to go to the SOUTH Naaperville location on 11th and rt 59. This place is very clean and great looking, and the food is awesome. Same huge burritos, and great tacos, but clean and attractive. The people are polite too. Great palce for the family for a reasonably priced meal, and no tip required. Also way less expensive, more authentic, and more food than Chipxxxx.

El Famous Burrito Sucks!. My kids and I wanted to go to a good Mexican restaurant that wasn’t too far away, so i told them we should go to El Famous Burrito. Boy was that a mistake! That had to be the worst meal I have ever had. I bought 3 enchilada meals and the sauce tasted bitter like it was really burnt. So I wasted $30.00. I told the manager that something was wrong with the food, he said too bad, I won’t give you your money back. He said I will give you 3 tacos in place of the meals. I told him that it wasn’t an even exchange. He said that is just too bad and was very rude. I have never before complained about a meal. If I could have eaten some of the enchiladas I wouldn’t even complain. I wish I would have gone to taco bell, at least they treat you better!
Go here if you’re looking for good food but not really caring what the place looks like. 😉
Excellent place! If you don’t like el famous, you don’t know what good mexican is!
