Wow. This place has good tapas reminiscent of Las Cuevas as in Madrid. Best kept secret in Naperville.
Wow, atrocious service. Even the receptionist had attitiude on the phone. So so tapas, no real highlights and downtown prices. I would recommend anyone whos been to a first rate tapas place like jaleo in vegas or mercat ala planxa in chicago to skip macarenas tapas, they will only leave broke and disappointed.
We had been there two times. They have a big list of vegetarian tapas items. We loved every single tapas item they served. You can order 3 at s time and you have to finish all of it to order next 3 items. If you waste any you cannot order after that. The place is a little cramped. But the food is great. One of the week nights they have a discounted price. We would go again. Good food.
Went for the first time tonight with a large group of friends, 10 of us in all, and we had a fantastic time! The food was wonderful and the staff was very attentive. My only compliant is that they charge for pop by the bottle, aka glass. Stick with H2O or pitchers of sangria. The place is small, so get there early to get a table!
Neutral. I will say that the actual price is 19.95 every day except monday. Still said, if you can eat more than three or four plates, it is probably worth the price. However, I felt like a lot of the plates were overdone…. Too much dressing on the spinach salad, too much vinegar on the artichoke hearts. The bacon wrapped dates were very good the first round, but the second round they were drenched in honey. Basically… it was okay, and I have definitely had better
Shocked to read somereviews where they talked about the tip being added to the check…I ate more than 9 tapas for $12.95…We had in total 30 tapas and we paid almost $1 for tapas…Beef Tenderloin, Shrimps, Dates wrapped in Bacon, Scallops, Spianch Salad and 20s more….It was amazing food and the best service….Our waiter really nice and made us feel like family.Will goo back again and again…Where can you eat Fine dinning food for $12.95….The Beef Tenderloin was at least 4 oz of prime cut!!! That’s AMAZING.
