A culinary triumph. Two words: lamb bacon! Dinner at Allium is in a rare class; everything I tried was cooked perfectly and extremely well balanced. From the bison tartare (wow, I never imagined raw meat and an egg could be so profoundly delicious) to the miso butterscotch milkshake. The wagyu beef was unbelievably tender and the smoked salmon appetizer is a must try. The flatbread they served was delightfully flaky with the smoothest, creamiest goat cheese I have ever had and lamb bacon!This restaurant is very elegant but still affordable. Our bill for two was about $115 (without wine but most of those prices weren’t bad). Dessert did not disappoint and the tea menu was impressive (including a $35 cup). I would definitely return here.
