Visited this place recently with my brother, I had hoped Big Bowl would be a nice place by seeing the restaurant ratings but it is somewhat average. Food was average, 3 stars for prompt service
Loved the concept of ‘do it yourself’ bowls. Chose a mix range of veggies with brown rice and let the chef serve it with red thai curry dressing. The end product actually turned out to be on the spicier side for my taste but the staff was courteous enough to redo a second bowl with spice level to perfection. Thank you for the generosity Team Big Bowl.
I had an early dinner here. When I came in I saw lots of people dining. That made me think this restaurant must have been good. Unfortunately I was wrong! Crab rangoon I ordered was still on average, but its chicken pho was tasted strange (see pictures). It was not rich with chicken or beef broth, instead it was sour. That was not the pho I used to taste in other Vietnamese restaurants. It might be its version of a pho, but that was not to my like. Sorry. The service however was attentive and helpful. That kept this restaurant at par to others.
