Bistrot Zinc is a delight! It has the feel and the menu of an authentic French bistrot, set in the heart of the Gold Coast. Ambience is lovely right down the the vintage French advertising posters and beautiful bar. Service was friendly and efficient.Plenty of great choices on the menu. Everyone in our parry started with French onion soup, which was made exactly the way you picture it in your mind. Excellent! My salmon entree was similarly fresh and delicious. Our server confirmed that the owner will be retiring and the restaurant closing at the end of August 2018. Do yourself a favour and visit Bistrot Zinc before it closes. It will be missed.

You can get a Chicago dog just about anywhere now but I’m pleased to say that my first Chicago dog was here at Portillo’s. I didn’t customize my order in anyway. I had it dragged through the garden and it was incredibly tasty. I had a side of cheese fries that were also good. I ate every bite and every fry. The atmosphere was pretty cool too. I will definitely come back when I’m in Chicago.

It’s a very elegant French bistro. I was there a month ago. Interior and decor is very well matching with the ambience. It’s quite relaxing place. Their French onion soup is really good. I had a salmon entree with mushrooms and red wine sauce it was deletions. Cauliflower gratin and Brussels sprouts was good. Over all it was great experience. Staff is friendly and helpful Would love to go again
