Was here for an event hosted by Todor Krecu last night. Was A lot of fun! Got to hang out with Tom the owner, who’s pretty awesome! : ). We split several dishes. Had the Tartufo pizza which was great. They didn’t have the stuffed gnocchi which is great that they’ve been that busy but sucked for us. Had the Rollatini Di Melanzane (eggplant). A fantastic dish. Not too rich and very fresh and yummy. The lasagna, on the other hand, was very layered and rich and perfect – exactly what I hope to have with a lasagna dish. BTW, all of the food was incredibly inexpensive!! Tom said that he was trying to recreate the atmosphere of New York drop shops which are super affordable and I think he pulled it off. Finally, the cookie and tiramisu were awesome, especially the tiramisu, one of the best I’ve had.

Yuck!. Staying nearby from out of town. Figured I’d try some local pizza place. The crust on the pizza was like a hard saltine cracker. The sauce was orange, and bland (reminded me of spaghetti-o’s), and the cheese had some strange spices on it… just in the middle. The whole thing was covered in grease. The tiramisu was watery, had little to no taste. and was generally disgusting. The only thing I liked about the whole meal was the can of coke I had. Seriously would not ever eat here again. Blech!!!
I got the stuffed gnocci with pesto sauce. It was awesome, but extremely small portion – didn’t even qualify as a meal! The garlic bread was burnt & greasy. Don’t think we will be back.
Amazingly good – fantastic chicken, pizza, and gnocchi, not to mention the BEST gelato you will ever find in the US of A. The service was absolutely wonderful to boot. Go go go!
Great food, great people. Loved it. Simple neighborhood place & decor.
Fresh ingredients, great sandwiches, pasta, and menu
