Having been told what a Chicago hot dog consists of and the best place to have one, we had to visit here. It was busy when we first went and the menu and ordering looked daunting. We had cocktails which were cheap and good. After a bus tour we returned for a hot dog. It was easy to order in the end. We had the Portillo’s hot dog with all the trimmings. I am not a fan of hot dogs but glad I had the experience. Do not put ketchup on a Chicago hot dog though.
I went there couple months ago. It was great experience. I tired their speciality burger it was excellent great flavor nice presentation and texture was superb. I was with my friends and we tried couple more dishes. Deviled egg and crab fritters was outstanding. Great beer menu. Service was good. Loved the ambience. Being in the heart of downtown this place fit right. Great job keep it up
Such a pleasure finding of bottlefork, we had a really impressive lunch during weekday. Small restaurant with a nice bar and interior design. The waitress was very help and friendly too. As always, I ordered a coffee, this time was affogato. But I was so surprised to see it! There was so many ice cream! Even though I knew affogato was a dessert coffee, the amount of ice cream in it was huge! Lol…love it~ The tuna crudos was light and fresh with marinated tuna cubes at the bottom and mashed avocado. Love the touch of shrimp cracker sprinkles on top, gave it nice saltyness and crunchiness. For the meal, we had the burger and rich man Po’boy. Both were really good! The beef patty was juicy and with slightly pink inside. The sauce was perfect for the burger, gave extra flavor and moisture. The lobster roll was filled with big chunks of lobster meat, foie gras spread and topped with super crispy oysters. Have to say, they combination was amazing! Softness of the bun, crispness of the oyster, sweetness of the lobster meat… Umm… Best lobster roll ever!
Half price keg wine on Tuesdays. Place is great for shared plates Highlights are the starters. Tots are interesting- good flavor, but could be crispier. Tuna crudo is tasty. Mediterranean salad was tasty but overly dressed. It’s a good afterwork dinner spot or place for appetizers and drinks. awellfedlife.com
Enjoyed my afternoon here with Paige Worthy because the service, food and drinks were awesome! Not only were the crisps amazing!! But the owner, Billy Deck responded to our Twitter hello with some complimentary tots:-) #potatoheaven all around! We both enjoyed our noble soul cocktails and the bartender asked for our feedback on the flavors, because he’s trying to improve the recipe. Going back for dinner sometime soon! northandred.com
A fantastic experience from start to finish. Our waiter Nick G. was extremely friendly, as well as very helpful and knowledgable. Some of our favorite dishes were the Wagyu Beef Jerky, Deviled Eggs, Grilled Octopus + spam, and the burger. I personally think the burger is the best I’ve had in the city. The whiskey cocktails were also wonderful- extremely well thought out. Will definitely be going back!
Good food but a bit pricey. Had dinner there this past weekend and enjoyed the food but felt everything (food and wine) was a bit over priced. Nice ambiance but gets really loud as it fills up.
