The food was great. Our server was overly busy, the place was so full of patrons it was squishy and uncomfortable. I enjoy sports bars and memorabilia, but they have tried to use every tiny inch of floor space to fit in so many tables, it wasn’t a comfortable place to have a drink.
Wanted to have some light seafood lunch on a weekend. There was a long wait everywhere. And after a long time we got some shrimps fish and salad. It was a disappointment except the salad.
So our waitress was fun. She actually did a Forrst Gump quiz with us as we waited on our food. We did really good! The adult beverages we ordered were fantastic. The atmosphere is fun. Waitress was great. The food just average. I wished I would have ate at Margaritaville instead. It’s your typical friend seafood and fries. Nothing too special.
Enter through a gift shop into the wonderful world of Forrest Gump merchandise. Lots of booths which is nice and patio seating at this location on Navy Pier. Compared to other locations I found all the shrimp were smaller. I got a new server so service was rough. She tried. Overall the meal was ok. I had the shrimp New Orleans which I’ve had in California and in a Denver. Not as good here. If your looking for a fried meal, this is your place.
Love the movie, loved the place. Great to see all my favorite dialogues on the walls. Shrimps were great, fresh and cooked well. Had the coronita to drink and it was really tasty! Will go back for sure
Heaven to all sea food lovers! Loved the tempura prawns to death.. Nothing can beat the ambience when it’s sunny in the month of March with cool breeze all over and you having shrimps all ways while basking in the sun!!
We waited about 40 minutes to get seat. waiting is their problem. But everything is very tasty. Garlic breads and Shrimp with Cheese are my Favorites. And also try coronita neyenir.com
