Good food, service, atmosphere, prices. Instantly a Chicago favorite. Wonderfully unhip, old school charm. Great interesting neighborhood location.
Order the Pizza Bread!. I can’t recommend Club Lago highly enough! I went their for an inexpensive date night with my girlfriend who was visiting me in Chicago and we had a great time. The service was excellently sassy and extremely helpful with the menu (our waitress recommended the pizza bread and it was the greatest decision of the night). We went on a Tuesday night and were able to get a table without a reservation but I would recommend reservations, just from what our waitress told us.
Old style family Italian food. Come hungry, leave happy – the service and welcoming atmosphere is phenomenal. Highly recommended. Sign of a good restaurant – lots of regulars.
Tremendous. Went here with a large group. Delicious food and better service. Great neighborhood atmosphere. Highly recomended
A Small Place w a Big Heart. Was completely impressed w this small out of the way establishment. They’re kicking it ole school, and despite the tavern crowd, we had a terrific time. The wheel is not being reinvented, so if you’re looking for basic Italian Dish prepared very well, and a family style atmosphere…. Check this place out. I had the Chicken Parm, and walked away stuffed to the gills.
Perfect. Grew up in Chicago and miss Como Inn. Looked to replace with a neighborhood place and this was just perfect. All 4 of us loved the dinner, stuffed, and I am already planning my return.
They came back after that freak accident when the building next door’s chimney exploded on them. They kept the same 50 or 60 year old decor that adds so much to the OLD Chicago charm of this place.Tried and true traditional Italian Food. I have probably eaten the entire menu. Food is delicious and service is casual and efficient. I really enjoy my Club Lago lunches. It is like a glimpse into an Italian family’s dining room. Which ,actually, it is.A must do . Quality and affordability and a friendly setting.
