Italy outside Italy. Or the amazing food of Italy far away from Europe. Loved it! Italy is also part of the gastronomy of the United States. I tatted mouth watering Burrata… and some pastries…. I do recommend this place.
Had a layover in midway airport and had lunch at Harry Cary’s. I ordered the Caesar salad. I had asked for blackened salmon to be added. The Salad was tasty however the blackened salmon was over cooked and very dry. Service was very good and friendly. Seemed like most people were pleased with their lunches.
Absolutely delicious, lovely, friendly service. There aren’t a huge variety of vegetarian options for lunch but the options they do have are creative and superb. The basil lemonade is amazing.
All the way from Italy, eataly brings you local food and delicacies of Italy from pasta to ice creams to pizza and everything is really good.
Until now I had only been to Italy in NYC. This one was just as good. My cacio e pepe pasta was to die for and the pasta was perfect consistency. The store itself is also a maze of amazing specialty items.
We have been to Eataly before and always seem to end up here whenever we are in Chicago. It can be very crowded at times which can be fun, but I much prefer it when it’s not so crazy. We usually eat at the seafood restaurant and dined there for lunch on this trip. Had the grilled calamari salad which was absolutely incredible. Hard to describe how perfect that plate of food was. Then ordered the pan roasted striped bass with roasted cauliflower and it too was superb. The fish was perfectly seasoned and expertly cooked. Great bread and olive oil, great reasonably priced wine by the glass, excellent service. They do a great job here at Eataly and it is a must-visit destination if you like italian food and wine. silverspoonlog.wordpress.com
Located just off Michigan Avenue – Eataly is a foodies paradise. The venue cannot compare to the great central markets of Rome or Florence but the grocery items are extraordinarily authentic and delicious. Paired with the wines, the cook books and utensils – truly a foodie could spend hours here. Dinner was on the expensive side and just above average. The aged beef – cheeses and other authentic Italian items guarantee we will return when we want just the right items for a dinner with special friends. romikabhat.wordpress.com
