Great chain! Good Italian beef (get it with cheese, hot peppers and dipped), great Chicago dogs (NO KETCHUP!) and amazing drinks (CHOCOLATE CAKE SHAKE!). This Chicago institution can not be missed. Yes its a tourist trap and the lines can be long but who cares! Thats part of the fun!
My favorite restaurant in Chicago. Never had a bad meal. Well worth the price and worth seeking out.
Awful food. Awful service. Our waiter was pompous and rude. The food quality and taste was disgusting. I ordered pasta and it was horribly over cooked. When I asked for more bread the waiter gave us attitude. I was really disappointed because of the great reputation this place has. Not worth the price at all.
OK but not worth the price. Food was well prepared and tasty but very expensive for what you got. Service was only so so.
Great place for dinner. We had a great experience here the other night. Everyone at our table loved their steaks (prime rib, ribeye, strip, and even pepper steak). Plus, one friend got the chicken parmeseana … and the sauce was delicious.Try the broiled mushrooms as a side. The servers were very friendly. We had a great time. And, of course, great food.
I can honestly say that this is the first time in my life I ever had to ask for steak sauce with my steak ever. It’s a nice size chunk of beef but no flavor. The side that comes with it forget about it. Your better off with anything else. To be quite honest the menu had nothing appealing on it at all. Boring. The service was the only plus but that’s not enough to ever bring me back. At least not for the steak!!!
Overpriced and disappointing! A salad entry is $20 and tastes like garbage. A veal entry is $40 and the sauce tastes like came from a can. Gross! The atmosphere is very nice and the service is excellent, but the food blows.
