This is a classic Chicago beef restaurant…. truly old school. I had the prime rib that was so large it actually did not fit on the plate and hung over at one end. Mid West beef is great and this is a go to place. This is a restaurant that one needs to try in Chicago if you like beef. The portions are not large… they are huge so go with a good appetite. Service was good and the food is excellent. All the portions of everything are huge. You pay for the meal as it is not cheap but the quality is outstanding.
Its a pricey place tucked away like a time capsule. The food is better than good, I just wish this place spent a little money on improving the interior. Maybe thats the ambiance but still its stuck in time… good place for an important lunch or dinner.
