We arrived at our hotel just after noon and wanted a quick bite so went to Portillo’s which was a short walk away. We got there about 1:30 and it was packed. People line up for the $3 hotdogs. We grabbed a table while it was available and ordered four all beef dogs. You may want to check the choices for what you want on your dog before you go because they come fully loaded. I had a hard time reading the ingredients from the cash station which suggests I need better glasses. If you have young eyes you will be fine. You pay for your order, get a numbered receipt and then go the the waiting area. The food doesn’t come in order so don’t panic when they call a number 10 or 20 higher than your number. The dogs are worth the wait. Fresh ingredients, excellent flavor on the all beef hotdogs. One dog was enough for me. We didn’t get any extras. They also offer ribs and I expect they would be worth the price. Beyond the excellent food, Portillo’s is a great experience. Kids would love it, I would think. But, be prepared. It is busy, crowded and noisy.

We visited as a group of colleagues, and loved the experience! The wine selection and food menu is extensive, and the staff spends time helping you choose the perfect dish. I tried the lamb appetiser and fig and olive tasting dessert. Definitely recommend dining here.

I definitely recommend this place! The service is superb, the ambiance modern sleek, fun atmosphere, and over all amazing food! I had the lamb, which is the restaurant’s signature dish, and I was very impressed! Over all I recommend this place and cannot wait to come back!

Great place for date. I went their last week service was bit slow. But food is great and wine menu is exciting. Loved the ambience. We sat at the bar counter which was in the middle of the room pretty amazing.

Wonderful, fresh ingredients! Love the crostinis, I would definitely recommend getting at least 6 to split with friends to try multiple flavors. Alex is an amazing server as well! He informed us that they only use olive oil in their cooking as apposed to butter, which is a nice alternative to most restaurants.

This is another favorite. We love the location and atmosphere, but mostly the food. The flavors you experience here are top notch. I’ll start with the crostinis and you should as well! They have a great variety of choices but my absolute favorites are the shrimp with avocado and the artichoke with mushrooms! Sadly, the crostinis never make it to the camera because I get too excited about eating them. Then there are the mushroom croquettes with bchamel and truffle sauce and the zucchini carpaccio that are the superstar appetizers in my opinion. I haven’t even tried the other choices yet because these are so delicious I cannot pass them up! These are all delectable vegetarian options by the way, and I am not even a vegetarian. The chefs really take the flavor to another level to make each of these starters so delicious! I had the chicken paillard which was OKAY. The chicken was a little dry and there were far too many capers on there Thani wanted. On other occasions I have had the chicken tagine for dinner which was delicious. The salads here are also perfection. We tried the Rivera shrimp and salmon salad. I want to try everything else on this menu but I don’t get to come out here often. I don’t feel I could bring my children to the restaurant and enjoy it the same way because they don’t have as many accommodations for kids. For example, they don’t have lidded cups and definitely no kids menu. I don’t really mind not having a kids menu but I do expect fast and good service in an expensive restaurant. I had brunch here one time with my two girls and the experience was fine but I had to make sure to move everything along quickly and constantly watch that glass of water. On my last visit actually I didn’t get to enjoy my dessert of chocolate pot de creme because it never came out on time and I absolutely had to leave. We sat down at 11 and I left at 1:30! It should have been enough time to serve me my dessert. I was disappointed in the slow service toward the end of our meal. I’d still come back here for sure for the delicious food and great ambiance, but I will be wary of the service and probably will leave my kids at home ( which definitely limits how often I can dine here). sugarandgarlic.com

A beautiful space with an open, light filled, current vibe. Went here to grab dinner and enjoyed it. Service was great. We sat outside on the terrace to enjoy the beautiful weather. Everyone that goes here orders the crostini, and I’m glad we did too! Wonderful flavors. Most of the items on the menu include figs or olives, go figure :)I recommend it for dinner or for apps and a glass of wine. just-browsing.com
