The portions here are always a bit too big, yet the food is quite good. The pastas all have a bit too much oil in my opinion. Other than that there’s not much to complain about. Chef Jean Tippenhauer makes you feel like you are being welcomed into his home. Not really a bad dish on the menu. Compared to other Rush Street over-priced places, Fred’s steals the show with great quality at reasonable prices! Must try…the desert called The Floating Island…you won’t be disappointed. Finally, space itself is one of the hippest in Gold Coast area…and why not, it sits atop Barney’s New York
Totally surprised. Great space, cocktails and food. And of course a fabulous store as well. How can you go wrong.
