We were flying out of Midway Airport and we looked to Harry Caray’s for a good dinner, as Harry Caray’s had been one of our go-to restaurants at Midway Airport on long layovers. We learned that in the last two weeks of May 2017, as part of a 75 million dollar refurbishment, Harry Caray’s is no longer located at Midway Airport. It has been replaced by a different restaurant. The phone number is no longer working. Their webpage is no longer functional.
Been here twice. The food is amazing, very similar to the Cheesecake Factory. Loved the warm fish tacos and the appetizers. Burgers are insane and the pasta is rich and creamy. Ambiance is lovely though I’d have preferred slightly better lighting for seats which are not along the windows.The apple pie was amazing, took 20 minutes to bake like they mentioned and was baked beautifully. The crust was warm and crumbly but also firm. A scoop of vanilla ice cream with caramel drizzle complemented the pie very well. The inside had chunks of apple which were not too big and nice and steamy. Finished the whole thing. It’s meant for at least 2 people. In fact, all the desserts are meant to be shared. The chocolate cake was very rich and quite difficult to finish with even the vanilla ice cream not sufficient to tone down the richness of the chocolate.
Sunday night pasta is delicious. Giant portions! Bread is delicious. Wife had fish and chips that was good. Service was average. Staff was really friendly. Got seated immediately on Friday night. This is a safe bet in any town. We love the one in the Bellagio in vegas!
The Grand Lux Cafe is a wonderful restaurant to go to if you want the experience of a downtown restaurant while not really paying those downtown Chicago prices. Perfect place to take out of town visitors.
Incredible business lunch spot and great servers Perky staff and extraordinary sustenance for a business lunch. Had burgers (get the star evaluated for best), soup and veggie lover fajitas. All great!
Good place to go for lunch. Has several dining areas. We sat in the bar area and ordered the Mini Classic Cheese Pizza ($7.50), which we liked, and drinks. Good Bloody Mary ($9.95). Service was good. Our server, Tommesha M, was pleasant and efficient. Good value. We recommend this for casual dining.
