This was a planned dinner as part of a birthday and Chicago sports weekend. It did not disappoint.The steaks were outstanding. The 8 oz. filet mignon is perfect with the gorgonzola cheese topping. The 12 oz. dry rub strip steak was very tender. Wendy did a great job as server.The restaurant also serves as a museum to Harry Caray’s broadcast career. Photos of old Cubs, Cardinals, and other players, coaches and celebrities. Jerseys of Bears and Blackhawks players. The most unique is the original Holy Cow statue from the 1999 Chicago Cows on Parade public art event.
I got to the airport early so I was able to sit down and eat breakfast prior to my flight. The staff was nice and I didn’t have to wait to get a table. I got the 2 eggs with bacon and potatoes. It was very good (just needed a little salt and pepper) all for about $11. Not too bad for an airport.
