I had dinner here after my original plans ended up with a lengthy wait further down the block. Highline had caught my eye originally when I walked by – lots of glass and bright from the street so I was drawn in.It wasn’t particularly busy when I arrived but the crowd picked up while I was there. The place is open and airy and not as loud as you might expect. Service was pretty good – waitress was friendly and generally prompt. Beer selection was above average with a mix of craft and big name beers available.The food was okay – I had a flatbread pizza that left me a little unsatisfied although I don’t think I could point to anything specific as to why I felt that way- it was fine but I expected more. On the whole I felt like the menu was pretty limited. The skillet cookie for dessert was very good.Price was about $50 tip in for two beers the pizza and dessert – strikes me s a little pricey for what you get. I would recommend the place but mostly as a spot for drinks rather than dinner.
