Our waiter started out by brining us the wrong drinks. We expressed to him they were wrong and he argued about it. After that it took 45 minutes to get our food. Then we waited for him to bring us our cards and change back for 20 minutes. To top it off I get home to find out he double charged my card. After all that I called and spoke to the GM to get to the double charge taken care of and not once did he say I’m sorry or I apologize for your sub standard experience. Guess I no were the rest of the employees get it!!!
Excellent ambiance in and around the restaurant. Went for buffet with colleagues. Breads was really awesome. Main course had 4 veg varieties however I liked none. Desserts doesn’t deserve any comment, simply waste.
Our hunt for a good veg food restaurant was finally over. V were just to bored with the pizzas & burgers. This place has a very cozy ambience. The interiors has Indian paintings across walls & these r really beautiful. The buffet spread had good varieties. And the kheer & sevaiyya were delicious. The staff too was very helpfull. U also have a lot of choice on alcohol Overall a good time spent. A definite repeat for me.
Went for buffet lunch at this place…some of the items were good , some were okeyish..but overall it was good experience as there are not so good indian restaurants in devon and downtown chicago..
Outstanding service, good choices, and great cultural ambiance. The price is fair, and the food is really good. The Tandoori chicken was some of the best I’ve ever had. Great Indian buffet!
After hearing a lot about this place, I thought of finally exploring Indian garden and to my dismay this place was an absolute disaster. Except the ambience, this place has nothing to offer. The food is below average ( except the naans and kulchas) and the service is pathetic. I would have still thought of exploring other dishes had the service been good. And to add to it the items are overpriced and totally not worth it
A decent north Indian restaurant with a menu offering vast choices for vegetarians and non vegetarians. For the main course we ordered chicken vindaloo, dal makhani and Kashmiri aloo and they tasted quite good and the portions were huge. Although the food was a bit cold but the taste was great. For desserts we had mango kulfi, pistachio kulfi and gulag jamun. The kulfis were good but the gulab jamuns were soggy and sugary as if it was made from those ready to eat packets. Overall a good place to have North Indian food.
