We’ve been here twice recently. It’s cute and cosy, great service, and tasty food. The early Pre- fix menu is a great value. I love the steak fries with herb butter. The salmon entree and the mussel app are also good. Great bread, too.
Very crowded so be prepared to order and get a table or have someone save a spot for you at lunch; great food, although if you’re a first-timer study the menu and don’t worry if you are hustled through the line; love the food but staff can be abrupt and rude.
It definitely has warm and cozy atmosphere. The wine selections were extensive and good. The appetizer I got I think was a special and it did not bode well with me… I wished I had gotten some of the other options I saw coming out. However, I did have the duck and it was fantastic!I recommend this place for a fun date or night with the ladies. Smaller groups are definitely better because its very cramped and very FRENCH! northandred.com
Outstanding food. We enjoyed a Bastille Day dinner here on July 14. Kiki’s was a busy place, quite naturally. Although we had reservations, there were no tables available inside when we arrived, so we ate outside. Unfortunately, the sound of the el was an issue, as well as the servers who regularly yelled into a glass window that opened into the kitchen. The food, however, was delicious and plentiful. I had the Steak au Poivre and the steak was coated with peppercorns, just as it should be. The steak was tender and cooked just as I requested: medium rare. My sons had the Coq au Vin, which was also tasty and satisfying. The sauce was perfect. I will definitely return to Kiki’s on a day other than Bastille Day so that I can eat inside and enjoy the bistro ambiance. I love the little red 2CV parked in the street in front the restaurant.
Delicious. I ate here a few years ago by myself and it was fantastic. Everything was perfect and I can’t wait to go back next time I’m in Chicago.
My favorite resturant in Chicago. Everything on the menu is amazing. I recomend steak with fries!
Kiki’s at its best: early dinner menu. I love the early menu they have. For $25 before 6:30pm you will have 3 courses menu:-appetizer : best mussel in town-entre: Steak Pommes Frites,: great meat!-great selection of desertThe restaurant is really cute the waiter was one of the best I had for a long time;He knew what he was talking about and actually like his jobI will recommend this restaurant over most of the French restaurant in town
