Making reservations for this place would be great. It does get busy during lunch time, when we visited the restaurant. I had the Pacific Halibut, which I haven’t had at any restaurant, previously. I thought I’d try something new and it was very good. Not sure it was $35.00 good, but it was a nice change from the fish I usually order which is salmon or tuna. The polenta and spinach bedding the Halibut was served upon was very good as well. The polenta was a tad bit on the firm side, but that may be what they were going for since it had to support the spinach and fish, above it, in its presentation. For desert, I had the chocolate and hazelnut mouse. It was topped with a crisp layer of chocolate that really brought the dish together. Everything was wonderfully presented and the wait staff was attentive and accommodating This place would be great for a business lunch and fancy enough for date night or a celebratory family outing. I’ll have to go back to try the many steaks on their menu.

To Put it smply- Everything was AMAZING! Prime Rib melted in my mouth & my wife loved the Risotto. They even bought us dessert for our anniversary. Service was outstanding! Will definitely be eating here more often!
Ok at best. Clean and good service, had oysters that were dry, yep, no brine from freshly shucked. Had a filet with no flavor. Simply a matter of salt and pepper while grilling. Just plain meat. Spent $280 for plain food. Yes it’s over priced for the quality of food.

We were not disappointed.From the moment we got there till we left, the entire experience was top notch. They made us, with a toddler, feel very welcome. Not something we experience from high end eateries.The food was amazing. We had the crab cakes and NY strips. They cooked them correctly and the sauces and sides were great. The four cheese macaroni was extremely well done. Only had anything that compares a couple of times – and we eat out a lot.All in all, this was an amazing experience and we’re glad we chose this for our last night in Chicago. We may have to visit again next time but will be sure to tell our friends about it.Thank you very much to staff for how accommodating you were to our daughter. We really appreciate that!
Worst service ever. I walked out because of the attentive waiter.
I saw no mention if the steaks are all prime here, but no matter — they’re good. Great flavor. The well-trained waitstaff fully explains all options. The appetizers and sides are solid, too. Maybe not THE best steaks in Chicago, but darn close. My 12 ounce strip was perfectly cooked, juicy, quite reasonably tender and had minimal waste. And the flavor was superb.
Excellent food, good bar selection, and wonderful service! Highly recommended for any occasion.
