Wonderful meal and service at La Piazza in Eataly! Since it’s just an appetizer bar where you seat yourself, we expected quicker service especially since it was during the week. Very friendly employees though and delicious food. I got raw scallops with a delicious topping that I can’t remember. Mom and I shared extraordinary fresh mozzarella and got the tomato topping. Glad it came on the side. It was great too though!
Every trip to Chicago starts with a stop here for burrata, wine and some other treats. Service is fast but since it’s become so busy, it’s not alwaysas attentive as it should be (ex I had a dirty fork in my rollup that wasn’t replaced after I requested it). Still the burrata is a treat and the atmosphere is bustling and beautiful.
