There was a 25 minute wait for two burgers and a cookie, the people in line in front of us waited 30 Min for two ice cream cones and a soda. They had about 15 orders that were clearly left and never picked up and for 45 minutes straight they kept calling the numbers instead of moving on. Finally when i said something the very un-helpful manager(couldn’t even tell if she was really a manager) THREW AWAY ALL 15 MEALS WHEN THERE ARE 100 HOMELESS people within 2 blocks. PATHETIC. Great renovation miserable service.
Odd place for me to go since I’m on a low carb diet but when in Rome……er, Chicago……you know the rest. I had their Italian Beef in a cup with grilled onions, green peppers and mozzarella. I also had an Italian sausage on the side. Fast service, decent $ and the food was good. I really enjoyed it. I’ve been to other Portillos in the past and I highly recommend their chocolate cake shake. It’s friggin delicious.
Lots of space but nothing special about the food. If you like McDonalds it’s fine. The service was also was nothing special either. Order took longer than expected bit I did get a free small fry by accident. There are some cool displays and a small outside display with a nice vette inside.
Cool Joint. It’s a McDonald’s, nothing special with the menu or anything like that. However next to the join in Paris, this is a pretty cool restaurant, as it has a lounge in the second floor, ample seating, takes you back in time to different era’s at the back. Cool place to chill with free WiFi. No marks on the food, but a cool place.
Great Shakes!!. I am not a fan of fast food, but with children you sometimes have to give in.We took the kids here while on vacation for thier dinner (before we ate ours somewhere else). The grease they use for the fries is completel different from the grease they use back home… these fries were amazing!We tried the shakes after our kids raved about them…. delicious! I have never had a shake from McDonalds taste like that!In addiion to regular menu items, they offered tiramisu, chocolate mousse and creme brulee at the counter upstairs. Being the dessert snob I am, I couldn’t bring myself to order one here…. but they did look good!
