Spendy, but decent and convenient.Went here for a late lunch while shopping.A very wide variety of food is served cafeteria style. And the food quality isn’t bad.You also get to eat right away.The only drawback is that it’s not cheap.But it is in Watertower Place, where nothing is cheap.
EXCELLENT entres, and even better skillet cookie and ice cream. Did not disappoint. Walking through the restaurant, everyone’s plate looked delicious. Service was great too.
Try the not your dad’s root beer. Stopped in here looking for a beer while shopping the food court looked tasty. Ordered beer and a glass of wine .The bartender was nice and helpful. She told me to try the root beer…couldn’t tell it was a beet. A lot of friendly locals eat here. We had reservation at carmine or we would have eaten here.
Thanksgiving surprise. We are from Kansas City mo. I am a trained chef and food blogger and to be honest had never eaten a holiday out. We ended up eating here for thanksgiving and it was absolutely amazing. We had not made reservations because we didn’t know they took care of our family anyway. The food was incredible. Even though it was a buffet style it was very kept all the food stayed fresh out of the kitchen very well set up simple and elegant. The service was to die for. We ate out two meals a day for our entire 4 day vacation and this was the best place when it came down to service and taking care off us very polite. We will definitely go back to Chicago just for this place and will be recommending it to all are friends that frequent the city.
Top Drawer. Everything about this restaurant is exceptional. First of all the message – celebrating nice. How utterly timely and refreshing. Couple that with those delightful popovers and a crowd pleasing menu and everybody’s happy. We visited recently from Ottawa and our party of five was downright celebratory with each bite. The service? I dropped my fork and I swear it didn’t even hit the floor the waiter was so attentive. Please go, but make a reservation. Fantastic.
Great hidden gem. This is a hidden gem away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. It is located behind the food court in Water Tower Place and I guarantee you won’t regret going here for any meal. The staff is very nice, the food is excellent and it has a relaxing homey feel to it. If you do eat there, you can’t go wrong as all of the food is great but I recommend trying the french onion soup, it is the best you will ever have. There is a nice range of food too from burgers to more complete dinners such as fish and chicken and steak.
Wonderful service, chef came to table to discuss a peanut allergy and the food was absolutely fabulous. The lemon angel food cake desert was a wonderful treat. Will be going again.
