Beautiful Find. Understated, tucked-away gem. Difficult to find anything less than delightful about the place, from decor to service to food. The whole enterprise has been polished to a high sheen and won’t dissapoint.However. . . . you will pay top dollar for the privilege so be prepared!
We were promptly seated and received the best possible service from our waiter Sergio. We had the wine-paired dinner with five of the most delicious food/wine combinations. Sergio even modified a few wine pairings and the whole meal was very special.
I was really excited to go to MK, and we had some nice cocktails. Only problem was the entre was doused in a hot sauce and it was very hot. Not such a good fish dish, and we had some expectations from Michael Kors. First and last here, and some friends said the same thing.
Excellent restaurant! The food, service, and atmosphere exceeded expectations.
Will work with you. Made a reservation for 5. Over the day, it grew to 11. Trevor worked with us and still got us seated on time. Great service , food and wine.
Excellent. This is or may be as good as it gets! My steak was cooked as if I seared it my self. My wife had the fish of day, which she still talks about. The service couldn’t be better, it’s as if they are watching each bite and sip … Let MK take you to a table in heaven.
SUPERB. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.. My wife and I visited MK, based on reviews on OpenTable. We were promptly seated and immediately attended to by our waiter. He helped guide my wife toward the New York strip and me to the Bison steak, and recommended the maximum degree of wellness. He then paired our entrees with a delicious Spanish red wine. The wait staff brought us a small crab appetizer and then handmade ravioli–both complementary! The breads were outstanding. The steaks were tender and juicy. The pommes frites (French fries) with aioli-truffle sauce were heavenly. We split the cheesecake. Everything we ate was fresh, flavorful, and unique. The wait staff never let our wine glasses reach empty (despite our best attempts!). It seemed they had radar. Our every need was met. Thanks MK for a truly magical, enjoyable evening that we will never forget. Next time we visit The Windy City, MK will be on our to-do list!
