Simply the best Combo in the world. Perfect in every way, the gold standard in Italian Beef. Gravy is just right on the Italian spices, beef has correct bite to it, sausage is from Chicago (they’re all good In Chi town), giardiniera is is perfectly hot and the bread is strong enough to stand up to a double dunk. I am so glad and so unhappy to not live next to Mr. Beef. Hey Combo, combo Italiano…
Uhhh..Words don’t describe how good!. The beef sandwich here is AMAZING! Staff and owner was awesome. Everything we tried was to die for!
Disgusting swamp-like flavoring!. The beef was sliced thicker than I prefer it and was tough. I love greasy sandwiches but this was just uncalled for… dripping with (old) oil, coating the entire bun and the peppers were way too thick as well as being way over-priced. Overall, horrible experience and will not be going back!
Meh. The service was great and friendly but the beef was meh and the giardiniera wasn’t spicy enough for me.
