Went with my wife and 2 teen kids there are not a lot of kid-friendly options, but it was a relaxed cool atmosphere and our server was especially helpful. We had the sea bass and the hanger steak as entrees and they were fantastic. The octopus app was great- drinks were good – they were out of most dark beers because of st patty’s day.
I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here, given its lounge/bar feel, but the food is pretty good! Definitely upscale bar food. My husband and I split a Mediterranean salad and the Rockit burger. The salad was fabulous and I’d order it again. The burger was good, but not worth the $19 price tag. I don’t believe it was actually wagyu beef… Sorry. Good service, decent drinks, lively River North atmosphere.
What an interesting breakfast menu!!! I had the burrito….spectacular! Although a little spicy…I’m a bit of a wimp. :)Worth every penny and every bite. Great atmosphere, but I’d turn down the amp a bit…made it hard to have a conversation for sure.All in all…awesome! 1qtnewf.com
Wow. What an incredible place. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the angus beef burger and it was the best burger I’ve ever had. The service was great too. I will say I ordered my burger medium and it was pretty pink but I didn’t mind since it tasted delicious. Definitely try this place out. lincolnparkminute.com
Oh, you wanted to sit together?. We made a reservation for this place because they had a great bloody mary bar- I will give them that. However, when our group of 8 was ready to be seated they were surprised to find out that we all wanted to sit together- seriously?! Yeah, that’s why we made a reservation. The group was split up which seemed stupid with all of the open seating downstairs. Then we had to wait forever to get our drinks, food order, etc. I chose the blueberry lemon ricotta pancakes- they left a lot to be desired. Some of the food at the 2 tables was very good, most was just ok. We barely saw our server and mostly saw the other helpers to take our food and fill our water glasses. After a 2 1/2 hour meal (not our choice) we had to run down the poor waitress who was all alone on the floor. How crappy is that?! I never saw the manager helping her, nor did the manager come to our table to help get us out of a brunch meal that was sadly 2 1/2 hours. Go there for the bloody mary bar or mimosas on Sundays when they are cheap. Find another place for food.
One of the best meals my group had in Chicago. Everything was tasty and served warm.
