his was a surprise for my Wife. It felt like the Family at RPM STEAK had a hand in making it an Over the Top Celebration. Monique and Jason greeted us Enthusiastically and ushered us to the White Rose section. Jason, Thanks for being my Florist. At the Ready was Ray Ready. The Maestro! Ray chose a Sonata from the Appetizer section. Thick Cut Bacon, Tuna Sushi and Colossal Tiger Prawn a Cappella, Bravo! The Oratorio was Grilled Lamb Chops and Bison Filet accompanied by Japanese Sweet Potato’s and Roasted Sweet Corn. With an Encore by 14K Chocolate Cake. Hat’s off to the entire Orchestra What a Performance. This truly was a Symphony for Our Taste Buds, Standing Ovation
Went for a work dinner…and was not disappointed. I had the duke, it was perfectly juicy and seasoned. Salmon was excellent, so were the brussel sprouts and beet salad. Service was great, very attentive. The bacon wrapped button mushrooms were lousy, but the server took it off our bill. Also ordered baked alaska for dessert…damn. One thing: wish they gave free bread and added lemon or mint to their water. Those touches make a difference.
This is really not a steakhouse, not a good one at least. It’s a trendy nightclub for people who think they’re celebrities, that happens to serve mediocre steak. Service is arrogant and inattentive. For this amount of money go have a great steak elsewhere, like Gibsons or Gene and Georgetti.
Loved it! Start to finish everything was amazing. We started with rolls that were to die for and then split the Kale Salad. We both ordered the 8 ounce filet and two different sauces. The steak alone was unbelievable, but adding the shallot bernaise put it over the top. The donuts with Boston cream sauce were fantastic as well. Gianni, our server, was top notch! I definitely would recommend this place for a Chicago meal. It’s worth the $$$
Hands down the best steak I’ve ever had…..started with that Kale salad, popover rolls 8oz filet with whipped potatoes, ended with the donuts with Boston cream sauce……legit meal, did not disappoint….highly recommend!!!
Dined here with my family for my birthday last weekend – we were able to score a reservation for 6 on a Saturday with only a week’s notice. The downside? It was at 4:45 🙂 No worries, we just ordered a round of cocktails and Parker House rolls while we took our time with the menu. We split 3 appetizers – two of which I’d order again: thick-cut bacon and coal roasted crab. In order to really get a satisfying bite or two, I wouldn’t share these between more than 2-3 people. The yellowtail sashimi appetizer was good, but just not satisfying enough for me to want it again. We decided to split the 38 oz. 60-day dry aged ribeye and a bunch of sides. The steak was the best any of us had ever had – the perfect seared crust and most tender, medium-rare center. The steak was served with pickled cherry peppers on the side which were delicious paired with a bite of steak. We ordered brussels sprouts (PERFECT), sauteed spinach (garlicky and delicious), oyster mushrooms (wish we got 2 orders), Giuliana’s chopped salad (really good as a side dish), Millionaire’s Potato (again, wish we got 2 orders), and the night’s 2 specials – cheddar popovers with prosciutto butter, and butternut squash ravioli. We were all content and full after this meal, but we still managed to order and devour two desserts. The house donuts were standouts, and the free homemade cotton candy they gave us was the perfect night cap! With dinner we each had 2 cocktails and shared 2 bottles of wine. Overall, nearly a perfect meal. It was incredibly expensive, and we all split a steak… I can imagine how much damage could be done when people are ordering individually. Would love to return.
Wonderful. We had a great meal, the kale salad was perfect to start, I had the scallops which were very flavourful, my boyfriend had the 16oz ny strip which he said was the best steak he has ever had, we shared Brussel sprouts on the side. The perfect dinner with a glass of wine!
