  Went there with my friends on a saturday night and I have to say everything was perfect! I would highly recommend tuna tartare as a starter! From steaks they have great specials so definitely ask for it! Our server Patricia gave us an amazing experience and we will be back soon! Perfect for celebrations with bigger groups! LOVE STK!!!!!!! Btw the music is loud because they have a DJ but it was a big PLUS for us!

  Boy! Did I eat good tonight!! A bunch of friends and I were giving STK Chicago a try and they opened their door for the first time mere five days ago!I have been to STK at the Cosmo in Vegas. That was a fun and delicious experience of club and steakhouse all in one. This one in Chicago was a different experience. We dined at 5 pm and we had 3 toddlers with us. Lol. The place was still a little quiet at 5 pm. We had a very fun server, Eric that hit it off with our table right away. He and our friend, CK, was a free entertainment for the table. They kept bantering and giving each other hell. However, it was in a good funny way. It was a lot of fun and laughters.We ordered a big tomahawk steak of 48 oz of meat at a whopping $165. We also ordered a porterhouse, in case the tomahawk wouldn’t be enough meat. Good lord, we must have been hungry as that meat fed five of us. It was very flavorful and cooked to perfection. The porterhouse was a bit dry on the strip side, but the filet part was melt in your mouth good! It almost tasted better than the tomahawk.All the sides and appetizers were top notch also. The creamed spinach, mushroom, cauliflowers, Brussels sprouts were tasty. The truffle parmesan fries, corn pudding, and mac n cheese were solid. The appetizers were pretty special too! The foie gras….need I say more?? The fried lobster tail snd the octopus were mhmhmhmh good. We ordered the ceviche but it never came.With the ceviche issue, dry porterhouse, and one of the fish dishes took forever to come, plus then it was a bit raw, we were treated with lots and lots of free desserts. We got a lemon cheesecake, ice cream sampler, banana cream pie, and chocolate sphere with ice cream inside. The desserts were good but nothing mind blowing like the steak. However, it was fun to try. The whole experience wasn’t perfect but they went above and beyond to make it perfect. They’re still so new. I’m sure they were still working on some kinks. Plus, with us loving our server, it was so much easier to forgive especially since he tried to make things right every single time. It was a stellar service.If anything, not only the food was the star, but the server too. It was a right combination and we had a great time with friends eating totally awesome food. I’m beefed out but glad I was beefed out this way. It was fabulous!
