I was traveling home through Midway and stopped for breakfast. They have omlettes and you can build your own. I had Monteray Jack, Mushrooms, and turkey sauasage. It was great. Jack was a great server and the food came out pretty fast considering that it was very busy.
This review is based on my brunch experience at Table Fifty-Two.The restaurant is cute, intimate and with limited seating. It was not a good idea to have a big group… over 4 people. But it was kind of our fault that 2 extra friends wanted to join us last minute and the restaurant did able to accommodate of of us but with almost an extra 45 minute wait. Was the wait worth it? The service here is really good and professional. We ended up ordering a few item for the table to share and our own individual main. Sweet Potato Bread – complimentary and so good!Bacon and Potato Hash ($13) – ExcellentBenton’s Hand Cut Bacon ($7) – MehLow-Country Shrimp and Grits ($16) – ExcellentButtermilk Fried Chicken and Waffle ($24) – Meh as it is just way overpricedBiscuit and Gravy ($6) – ExcellentThree Cheese Mac ($12) – ExcellentI would not order the fried chicken again, it is just way overpriced! The sides though all really good. Maybe I should just eat all the sides next time?$5 for dripped coffee?! Yes, it was an expensive brunch!
Charged $ 150 after calling at 9:30 am Sunday am and cancelling for reservation at 3:30 pm. PLEASE take note and be aware of this restaurants cancellation policy!! We had reservations for 6 on a Sunday at 3:30 pm – not peak time, and were unable to make it due to unforeseen circumstances. We called at 9:30 am on Sunday to cancel the reservation. They would NOT accept cancellation and were charged $ 150 on our credit card. Would not even agree to send us a voucher, so that we would not lose the $ 150. Tried to talk to the manager, but would not return our call.
