Loved my visit here. Salad/Cheese/Soup bar very nice. All the meat selections were tremendous. Fun ambiance. Service was a bit slow, but I was here late on a Thursday night (near closing).
The bar on the roof top is not to be missed. One of the greatest atmospheres I’ve seen in Chicago. Not your typical Brazilian steakhouse, the salads and charcuterie are better than others I’ve been to and the meats have a better flavor. Can’t go wrong here and they have a great wine list to boot.
Pricey yes. But this is the best marriage of a Brazilian steakhouse and fine dining. The chefs bring perfectly cooked meats to your table with innovative sauces and chutneys. There is also a buffet with a charcuterie, cheeses and well thought out vegetarian sides. I had many helpings of the pork belly and the duck and oh boy was my stomach happy
My experience at Zed451 was one to remember (in a very positive way)! I have been to Brazilian steakhouses before with the same style of serving, however they pale in comparison to the experience I had at Zed451. The salad bar consisted of a multitude of unique (albeit unconventional) salads, my favorite of which was a pulled pork salad followed closely by a chopped Brussels sprout salad. Then came the meat. I don’t remember everything I was offered but I tried everything and everything was fantastic. If you are considering checking this place out – I say do it!
Bread pudding dessert is AWeSOME! Little pricey but good quality.
Great brunch. Mick describes it perfectly. I live 2 blocks away and just did the brunch for the first time–shame on me!
If for no other reason…. …it’s the fastest way possible to experience a wide array of exotic, specialty foods and cooking techniques. Kill a lot of birds with one stone, so to speak. My only complaints were that the chairs weren’t exactly comfortable for such a long dining experience (maybe just if you’re tall), and the kitchen / bus staff are very prone to dropping loud, heavy, breakable things – fortunately always in the kitchen itself, but still kind of a distraction. Small stuff though, I would absolutely come back to get another shot at all 12 of the wonderful entree selections they prepare.
