Amore for Basilico.. We have been coming to this restaurant for a long time and just love it. The food is great and the service is always friendly and attentive. They will even cook off menu if you know what you want. I admit there is not much interesting about the location, but once you step through the door, you are transported. Highly recommend.

Great neighborhood Italian restaurant!. Always great food and service. Honest Italian food like my grandma would have made… if she wasn’t German. We’ve been there many times since we’ve moved to the area and have never been disappointed.
Food was awfull. We went to Basilico for the first time on Valentines Day. We saw all the good reviews online and we wanted to try it!! very disappointed!!! food was awfull!! I had Spaghetti Carbonara!! too much sauce!! when i got my food i could see that it was in the window for a long time!!! my salad was frozen:) very bad service also!! I am never going back and I don’t know who wrote all the good reviews!!! everything overall was awfull!! This is an italian wanna be restaurant!!
Staff unproffesional. The food was fine… until I could overhear the staff talking about us. It really left a bad taste in my mouth. I always tip well, and was doing the same tonight. Though we were well within normal hours of operation, we were one of two couples still in the restaurant. It had been a long day, and was working on an email while signing the bill. The staff thought i was using a calculator to figure th tip and I could easily hear them talking derogatory about it. I still left 20%, though I should not have. Judy K. needs a serious lesson in manners.
Great Find!. I first went to lunch here several months ago with my boss and coworkers. My boss is Italian, and knows all the great spots for real Italian food. The restaurant is very clean with a great layout for a small dining room. The service was very attentive and friendly. We had the calamari appetizer, which was served with this light lemon/white wine/garlic concoction. Could not have been better. I had eggplant parmesan, which was massive, delicious, and affordable. I went there months later with my husband and sister and they both enjoyed their food and experience!
Quaint mom and pop with friendly service and delicious food. Will be back!
