Great place for authentic Mexican tacos, tortas and burritos. Quick, easy, friendly. BYOB is always a plus. I love the place even though it is no frills. Just good inexpensive food. Al pastor taco, burrito or torta a must. Also excellent fish tacos.
There’s not a shortage of places to eat Mexican in Ravenswood, but it’s worth the stop at La Amistad. There’s nothing fancy about the place, but you can BYOB if you choose to dine in. I always take out from here and they are super fast and friendly. Love their tacos and specials that they have are always a great deal and well prepared. northandred.com
