We went here based on the recommendation by the front desk clerk at our hotel. We walked in and felt lost.We weren’t sure where to order or how as they have a couple different areas. Then to pick up pasta you have to go to one window and for burgers you have to go to a different area. I guess once you go, you get the hang of it but it was a bit confusing for a new comer. The pasta was great but my daughter didn’t like her burger at all. It was too charred for her taste. The atmosphere was pretty loud and I don’t think we would go back to this location.
This place is amazing! The food is amazing and the service is so friendly! I definitely recommend it! The options are unique and all amazing but what really makes this place great is the service! You will feel very well taken care of. And you must try the marmalade!
The waitress was not very good. The order I asked for was horrible. I asked for the order to be remade again and it came back just as bad as it was the first time. I did not eat breakfast and the hostess said that she wants talk to the owner and talk to me and he decided he didn’t want to talk to me at all and he turned away from me. I will NEVER go there again. The owner is a bad person.
First time at Marmalade was great! Friendly and fast service, lots of breakfast options and the food was delicious. A definite repeat!
Perhaps a bad day…?. Very disappointed.Visited for the first time today (10/22 – mid afternoon) and it was not very crowded at all. In fact there were no more than 10 people (already seated) in the entire restaurant, but it took over 10 mins. to get water and iced tea and another 10 mins. to get my order into the kitchen. During this time, I counted a group of 4 young ladies and 2 other single guests arrive. Their orders were taken and food was delivered timely. I’m still waiting. Once my order finally arrives, with no explanation for the delay, I was more than disappointed, honestly I was shocked. If I didn’t know better I’d say it was deliberate. The skillet (with chorizo) was horrible, over-cooked and cold eggs and the single pancake I ordered was not edible, it had a taste unlike any other panacke I have ever had. Within 4 mins. of receiving my order, I requested the check, (which I got at an amazingly rapid speed) but the server did not comment on the fact that I did not eat any more than 3 spoonfuls of this food. A nice $20.00 donation to the Marmalade Restaurant. I did not complain to management because the gentlemen who I believe was the manager/owner {?} was far too busy offering complimentary Espresso French Toast to the group of 4 young women that I mentioned earlier. Inattentive, Indifferent, and Poor Food Quality – I will not return again.
Nice friendly morning spot with outdoor seating. Food was good, potatoes had little too much seasoning but worth a return trip.
