One of those places you’re never mad about going back to: it’s always a favorite, and always something new! This is one of the best spots on the city! Amazing cocktails and the food is on point every time. Try the Mussels and truffle fries to start. Great outdoor seating, and a cozy vibe inside too. (No TVs!!!) They can do no wrong in my eyes. instagram.com
Tiny Lounge is one of my favorite spots in Lincoln Square. Cocktails are fancy, wine list is great, and the food is delish! Check out the patio in summer and enjoy some neighborhood ambience while snacking on small plates and sipping deliciousness;) northandred.com
This place really is the BEST!. Two words, CHEESE CURDS!Order them. The Margherita pizza was perfect not since living in Italy have I had such a great, simple pizza; with amazing crust. The cocktails were creative and masterfully made.Awesome!
Great time! Some of the best cocktails and food.
Cocktails are their specialty.. Would like to try them all! Patio outside in summer.
OMG; Lamb Arancini. I’ve been out of town all week in Northern Callie and when I get an earlier flight home — what’s this?!?! — Mrs. C. is doing an all-nighter with our daughter and the Brownies at Adler. What’s a guy to do? Head on over to The Tiny Lounge for a welcome break. At the Witching Hour it’s dark, noisy with chatter & up-tempo lounge music, and full of locals. Kitchen still open and I need a bite before I embark on a night of libations. Mark suggests the Lamb Arancini: not too big and not too small. Sounds just right. Halves of crispy risotto balls filled with seasoned, ground lamb, fresh mint and goat cheese. I’m definitely not a fan of curry, and even though it’s served with a ‘mild yellow curry cream’, there’s very little there and that’s fine with me. Hot, just a touch of spicyness and it’s just perfect. I definitely recommend this to all looking for a light bite.21 Mar, 2010I would like to say this is the Tiny Lounge 2.0, but that wouldn’t be fair to the original Tiny Lounge or this one. This is the Tiny Lounge in a paralell universe. The old one was great, this new one is great too, yet in a different way. New drink menu with emphasis on non-Martinis (a little on the fru-fru side), now with food menu (‘international’/eclectic — except for the burgers, which are awesome), and more space.
Quality food, great beer list, good service. It occupies a very unassuming little space in Northcenter, not exactly the hippest part of town, but Tiny Lounge is a surprising mecca of upscale chic in a more blue collar, family-oriented neighborhood.True to it’s name, the restaurant food focus is on small plates dining, and with a wild, eclectic (but grounded in familiarity) menu, there’s something for everyone in your group. We had the olives, margherita pizza, and mini burgers… All were phenomenal, especially the heaping basket of fries that accompany the burger. The beer menu is good but can be daunting, even to experienced drunks. Luckily the staff is not shy about recommending a good beer to pair with your food. I’m sure they’re equally knowledgeable about their massive cocktail and wine list as well, but the beer… The giant list of beer!In all, Tiny Lounge does an excellent job of fusing a hip, upscale lounge with a down home, classic Chicago neighborhood bar very, very well. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.
