  Best sushi place around!!! I love this place. The service is friendly and food delicious. I usually go for the all you can eat sushi lunch (very fresh) but have been for dinner. The drinks can be a but pricey but delicious… I would recommend the salafornia rolls!!!

  Orland finally gets an upscale Asian restaurant. I read about the opening of Yucca in the Chicago Tribune and decided to try it out with a friend. I had the Yucca Curry, which was heavenly. I opted for chicken, but beef and shrimp are options as well, as is adding to the heat level, which I also opted for. My companion had the orange chicken, which was also above par compared to the usual syrupy concoctions you usually get at most Chinese restaurants. There’s an extensive selection of sushi and sashimi that takes up three large format pages of the menu. The rest of the offerings are a blend of Chinese, Thai and Japanese dishes. We had the edamame, which was served freshly steamed and salted and very much reminded me of previous trips to Japan. The chef/owner worked for years at the Peninsula Hotel in downtown Chicago and trained in Asia. The dcor is nicely upscale and reminiscent of the type of restaurant you’d have to otherwise go downtown or to Las Vegas for. As an Orland resident who has traveled to Asia extensively, I’m ecstatic to have another non-chain eatery alternative in town!
