Good but the health rating scares me. I have been eating here regularly for the last year. It is carry out and delivery only. I’m pretty sure the family lives in the room behind the counter, but the food is good so who cares.The once concerning thing is the declining inspection score on the wall left of the window. It was high when i started going here, but the last 2 inspections show a downward trend that is starting to make me leary. I may need a new chinese place shortly.
Slipping…. We’ve been ordering from Chen’s for over 4 years now. It used to be our favorite on a weekly basis. I don’t know if they got a new chef or what… but the food went from A+++ everytime to a C at best, if you’re lucky. They have their good days, but when you order the same dish multiple times the taste shoudn’t vary so much everytime. I just got an order of wtf is this supposed to be? Make sure you ask for sauces, cause extra is never enough. And good luck with your timing as the lady who answers the phone has a hard enough time understanding English without that baby screaming in the background!!!
Veggie friendly. I’ve really come to like this place. They have a lot of vegetable options for vegetarians and the spring rolls are awesome! The people there are very nice and the delivery is quick.Leftovers are always a plus.
They were happy to fax us a menu so that everyone could browse and discuss sharing. I guess I’ll have to try to upload a picture of the menu in case you’re not near a fax.
