Like it. Nice little neighborhood sushi spot- very clean and has an extensive menu. Crazy crunch was one of my favorites as well as the spider roll. They have nice specials a little high on the pricing. But i enjoyed the flavors so i can over look that. Service was ok- it was pretty empty and server was rarely around except to take the order and drop the check. It so happened that it wasn’t hugely noticeable since we didn’t really need anything but it would have been nice to know she earned her tip i guess- or at least cared if we liked the food (which we did). Maybe it was because it was a slow evening?? Anyway we will be back because we enjoy the menu and the cozy atmosphere. Overall its a like for me

Terrible Service, No Appreciation for the Customer. I went to Maki Sushi for dinner this evening and tried to use a groupon that was for 1 appetizer, 2 rolls, and a dessert (a $56 value). The groupon said it was dinner for two, but didn’t state any requirements that there had to be two people there. Well when I showed up and presented the groupon to the waitress she told me that they wouldn’t honor the full value because I was by myself. Instead they would only give me a credit of $25, the amount I paid for the groupon. I asked them if they were giving me credit for half of the voucher why I did not get a credit of $28 which would be half of the $56 value. They were uncompromising and told me there was no manager on duty to speak with. In addition they admitted that they have had this issue with several people and that they have changed their language for future groupons, but despite recognizing this as a problem wouldn’t accept the consequences of their mistake. They said my only choice was to take the $25 credit or go.I ended up taking the credit and ordered an appetizer and a roll. The appetizer came out fifteen minutes after I ordered it, which seemed excessive for a restaurant that was half empty. But the bigger problem was that my roll came out 30 seconds later. Finally, to top off this horrendous experience, when I gave them my credit card to pay for the remaining $3.66 and my tip I was told there was a $10 minimum for credit cards. This of course isn’t mentioned in their menu, outside on their window or anywhere else for that matter. There seemed to be very little concern for the customer which is a shame because the food was fairly good.
