Best Asian Food in the area!. Do yourself a favor and check out Ginger. It’s not your average Chinese takeout place. The interior is tastefully decorated, and I’ve eaten here many times and never had anything bad from the menu. The portions are large, (usually enough to take for lunch the next day) and it is not pricey. The staff is always very friendly to boot. Hopefully Pekin is good to this place so it stays around a long time!
Amazing Food!. This place has the best Chinese food ever! It has a nice, relaxed atmosphere, and the staff are very friendly. The food is exceptionally delicious, well-presented, and reasonably priced. You won’t be disappointed!
Best Asian food in the Peoria area
Best Asian restraunt in central IL! I go there as much as I can and I try something different everytime and everything iv’e tried is delicious, so you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The spring rolls are very fresh and crispy, the crab Rangoon is delicious. My favorite dish is the pad Thai, but like I said everything has been amazing. Decent price and great service. 1 lady pretty much runs the whole house. And shes very good at it. She’s always very nice to us when we come in and asks how we are doing and such. Very friendly and talkative. The inside deco is modern and fresh. Only thing I would suggest is maybe a wider selection of desserts that had more of a Asian touch. Also I would reccomend they serve bubble teas and tapioca pearl smoothies. Just because I love them and there is only one place in Peoria where you can get them and they are expensive and not so good. And they should add peanut butter chicken and orange chicken. Haha. Sorry for the long review but I want everyone to know how good this place is! Everyone should try it!
Be pleasantly surprised. Don’t let the outside of this strip mall location put you off with the handmade signs. Once inside the charm will become apparent. The very complete menu (with the sometimes funny descriptions, all due to losing a bit in translation) has delicious chioices of Chinese, Japanese and Thai favorites.Beer and wine can be ordered too. We giggled at the Pinat nair ( pinot noir) but loved the server who struggled a bit with her english as well as the chef, whose cuisine was far above what we had expected. This is very good asian food. The best we’ve ever experienced in central Illinois. Prices are reasonable too. Many lunch choices during the week at $4.95. We had a few Chinese beers, three appetizers and 2 entrees for about $40. It is definitely worth the drive from Peoria. In the mall with Bergner’s, behind the Culvers. A sweet place with terrific food!
