Kids are away for the summer so we were searching out a new date night place. My neighbors went on and on about Community Tavern. So we decided to check it out. We had 7:30pm reservations on a Friday. We were seated immediately. Lots of city festivals helped with access to a reservation.For Apps my wife had the seared Tuna and I had the Escargot. Both very good. For main course she had the Braised short rib over polenta and I had that Steak Frites. Both were done to perfection.We sat at the bar and watched them make lots of good looking and tasting cocktails.This is a real asset for Old Irving Park and we’ll be back soon.
